Street improvements at Cathedral Street between Riley Street and Dowling Street, Dowling Street between Cathedral Street and Stephen Street, Bourke Street between Cathedral Street and Junction Lane.

What work is being done?

•footpath renewal

•Improving access ramps

The estimated construction period is July 2025 to November 2025.

Work will be carried out during the day between 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday, 7:30am and 3:30pm Saturday.

Night works will take place on Cathedral Street between Riley Street and Dowling Street from Monday 20 October to Monday 27 October 2025, between 3:00pm and 5:00am, with no noise activities permitted after 10:30pm

We will take steps to minimise any impacts on local residents and business owners. However, there will be some machinery noise, temporary parking restrictions and alternative access for people walking.
