Clarence Street and Barrack Street, Sydney

Street improvements at Clarence Street from King Street to Erskine Street and Barrack Street from Clarence Street to York Street, Sydney. These works will improve reliability of the street lighting, maintain pedestrian safety and enhance road user visibility in the area.

What work is being done?

• Installation of Smartpoles

• Road and footpath restoration

The estimated construction period is August 2020 to February 2021.

Work will be carried out during the night between 8pm and 5am Monday to Friday and during the day between 7.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Saturday.

Sunday works will be undertaken to avoid night works – letter notification with accurate dates will be provided to the community prior to commencement.

We will take steps to minimise any impacts on local residents and business owners. However, there will be some machinery noise, temporary parking restrictions and alternative access for people walking.
