1. Pedestrianisation works are now underway in Devonshire Street between Chalmers Street and Elizabeth Street.

2. Works include demolition of existing road surface, removal of kerb and gutter, drainage, paving and street furniture installation.

3. Construction of each stage is scheduled to be completed within 10-12 weeks.

4. Work will predominantly be carried out during the day between 7:00am and 5:00pm (Monday to Saturday). Night works may be required.

5. We make every effort to minimise impacts during construction, however there may be machinery noise, changes to pedestrian access and weather delays.
