1. Pedestrianisation works are now underway in Hay Street between George Street and Sussex Street (north side).

2. Works include demolition of existing road surface, removal of kerb and gutter, drainage, paving, and installation of street furniture.

3. Construction of this stage is scheduled to be completed within 6-8 weeks.

4. Work will predominantly be carried out during the day between 7:00am and 5:00pm (Monday to Saturday). Night works may be required.

5. We make every effort to minimise impacts during construction, however there may be machinery noise, changes to pedestrian access and weather delays.
