Project Overview

Street improvements to install a separated cycleway along Kelly and Mary Ann Streets, Ultimo. These works will improve cycle access while increasing community safety and greening of our streets.

What work is being done?

• Installation of a separated cycleway and parking changes

• New pedestrian and cyclist priority crossing on Mary Ann Street

• Traffic signal upgrades at Kelly and Wattle Streets, and Mary Ann and Harris Streets

• Access ramps

• Garden beds

The estimated construction period is March 2024 to August 2024.

Work will be carried out during the day between 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday, 7:30am and 3:30pm Saturday.

We will take steps to minimise any impacts on local residents and business owners. However, there will be some machinery noise, temporary parking restrictions and alternative access for people walking.
