Street Improvements

Street improvements at the intersection of Rothschild Avenue and Cressy Street, Rosebery. These works will increase pedestrian, bike and public transport access while improving safety and greening our streets.

What work is being done?

• Raised pedestrian crossings

• Installing new stormwater pipes

• Constructing new stormwater pits

• New concrete footpath

• Kerb extensions

• Asphalt road restoration

• Tactile installations

• Linemarking

The estimated construction period is January 2021 to April 2021.

Work will be carried out during the day between 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday, 7:30am and 3:30pm Saturday.

Temporary road closures will be required at the intersection during construction and notification will be provided 1 week prior to these works.

We will take steps to minimise any impacts on local residents and business owners. However, there will be some machinery noise, temporary parking restrictions and alternative access for people walking.
