Street improvements at the intersection of Morehead Street and James Street, Redfern.
What work is being done?
- New kerb and gutter alignments
- New concrete pathways
- New concrete through site link – shared cycle path connecting with James Street
- New garden beds and plantings
- New seating and cycle parking and a
- New tree
The estimated construction period is October 2024 to November 2024.
Work will be carried out during the day between 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday, 7:30am and 3:30pm Saturday.
We will take steps to minimise any impacts on local residents and business owners. However, there will be some machinery noise, temporary parking restrictions and alternative access for people walking.
